Nex Vision Ltd is a small workshop in Sheffield. We buy VR headsets, FPV drones and vision tech that other people have finished with, put it through a proper bench test, grade it honestly and sell it with a real warranty.
The company started because buying second-hand tech online is miserable. Listings say "good condition" and arrive with a cracked lens. Nobody mentions the battery is at 61% of its original capacity. There is no warranty, and no one to email when the controller drifts on day three.
We thought the fix was boring rather than clever: test everything, write down what is actually wrong with it, put a number on the battery, and stand behind it for twelve months. That is the whole business. It means we list fewer units than a marketplace and price them a bit above the cheapest option out there — and it means what turns up matches the page you bought it from.
Everyone here flies or plays. The drones get tested by people who crash their own, and the headsets by people with opinions about facial interfaces. That is why the condition reports read like someone who has used the thing wrote them.

What happens between
them and you.
It arrives
Most stock comes in from trade-ins and from people upgrading. Every item is logged against the seller, and anything without a plausible history gets checked against the national property register before we touch it.
It comes apart
Headsets get facial interfaces and straps stripped and replaced or sanitised. Drones get shells off, motors spun by hand, arms checked for hairline cracks. Batteries go on a capacity test, and we read the real number rather than the one on the label.
It gets used
A headset is worn for a full session and the panel is swept for dead pixels and mura. A drone is flown outdoors, not hovered on a bench. If a controller drifts, we find out here rather than letting you find out.
It gets written up
The technician who tested it writes the condition report and sets the grade. Photographs are of that exact unit. Then it goes on the floor with a stock reference, and when it sells the page stays up so you can see what went.
