Warranty

Twelve months. On used kit. Every grade.

Second-hand does not mean sold-as-seen. The warranty runs from the day your unit is delivered, and a Grade C gets exactly the same cover as a Grade A.

What is covered

  • Component failure under normal use — panels, motors, ESCs, gimbals, tracking cameras, controllers.
  • Batteries that fall more than 15 percentage points below the health figure printed on the listing.
  • Faults that existed at the point of sale but were not caught by our bench test, including anything the condition report failed to mention.
  • Connectivity, pairing and tracking faults that are not fixed by a firmware update.
  • Accessories supplied in the box, where the listing said they were included.

What is not

  • Crash and impact damage after delivery. This is the big one for drones — a flyaway or a tree is not a warranty claim.
  • Water damage beyond whatever the unit is rated for.
  • Cosmetic wear, including anything already described in the condition report.
  • Normal battery decline within that 15-point band.
  • Unauthorised repairs, third-party parts fitted after sale, or modified firmware.
  • Consumables: propellers, facial interfaces, straps, lens covers.

Why the condition report matters here

The condition report on a listing is part of the contract, not marketing copy. If it says the right controller has a slightly sticky B button, that is disclosed wear and not a fault you can claim for. If it does not mention a problem and your unit has one, that is ours to fix — even if it is the kind of thing you would expect on used kit.

This is deliberate. It is why the reports are specific and unflattering rather than vague: a vague listing would leave us arguing with you about what "good condition" meant.

Battery health, specifically

Every unit with a battery is capacity-tested and the real figure goes on the listing — 88%, not "excellent". Batteries decline with use, so we do not promise that number holds forever. What we promise is that it will not collapse: if measured health drops more than 15 points below the listed figure inside the warranty year, we replace the cell or the pack.

Grade floors at listing are 93% for Grade A, 85% for Grade B and 78% for Grade C. See how we grade.

Making a claim

Email hello@nexvision.co.uk with your NV- order reference, the stock reference of the unit, a description of the fault and a photo or short video. We respond within one working day.

If it needs to come back, we send a tracked label and cover postage both ways. Then, in this order of preference: we repair it, we replace it with an equivalent unit of the same grade or better, or we refund you. Because stock is one-of-one, a like-for-like replacement is not always possible — in that case you choose between the nearest alternative and your money back.

Your statutory rights

This warranty sits on top of your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and does not replace them. Goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality — for second-hand goods, satisfactory quality is judged against the description and the price, which is exactly why we describe them in such detail. Nothing here limits those rights.
