Out of the workshop the next working day.
Your unit is already in the building — it was tested and photographed here — so there is no supplier to wait on. Orders placed before 3pm on a working day leave the following morning.
2–3 working days, Royal Mail Tracked. The default.
Same Tracked 48 service, applied automatically at checkout.
DPD before 6pm. Order before 3pm, weekdays only.
How your unit is packed
Used gear does not always come with its original box, and about half our stock is unboxed — the listing tells you which. Unboxed units go out double-walled and foam-blocked rather than loose in a bag, with lenses covered and controllers wrapped separately so they cannot knock against the headset in transit.
Every parcel includes a printed copy of the condition report so you can check the unit against it while you unpack. If something does not match, that is a fault rather than a change of mind — see returns.
Drone batteries
Lithium packs ship under UN3481 rules: discharged to storage level, terminals taped, in a fire-retardant sleeve, with an approved courier and the correct labelling. This is handled on the bench as part of the pack-out, so it does not slow your order down. It does mean drone batteries cannot travel by air, which is why offshore and Highland addresses take a little longer.
Your battery arrives at roughly 40% charge. That is intentional and correct for storage — charge it fully before your first flight.
Where we ship
UK mainland at the prices above. Northern Ireland, the Scottish islands, the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are the same price but allow 3–5 working days, longer for anything with a battery in it. We do not ship outside the UK — the warranty and the returns process both depend on being able to get a unit back to Sheffield cheaply.
Tracking and stock timing
Tracking is emailed the moment the courier scans your parcel, usually early afternoon on dispatch day.
One thing worth knowing about buying one-of-one stock: a unit is only taken off the floor when an order is actually placed, not when it goes in a basket. If something sold while your basket was open, checkout tells you which unit and nothing is charged.
